Yes-men Beware
Is your boss a God? A tyrant? A fumbling buffoon? If your boss involves you in criminal acts, you are subject to prosecution under the full extent of the law.
The lesser known defendant in the Conrad Black trial, Mark Kipnis, was found guilty on 3 of the 16 charges brought against him. Since the time of his arrest, four years, ago, he was forced to resign from his job at Hollinger Inc; he has been unable to find work as a lawyer; and now, he most certainly will serve time in a penitentiary.

Dangerous Driving on Gravel Roads
You would be well advised to use extra caution when in the vicinity of a gravel road. Today's hyper-agressive motorist cannot distinguish between a freeway or a gravel road with soft shoulders and blind corners. I don't know what kind of drugs they are on but it's surely not marijuana. It's most likely, steroids or bovine growth hormone.

Live Earth as in Live Aid or Live This and That...
Over the weekend, millions of spectators and truckloads of celebrities participated in the Live Earth rock concerts held at different venues around the world. Spearheaded by Al Gore, following the success of his Academy Award winning documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, a renewed environmental movement has arisen with new ideas on reducing greenhouse gases.
Can you blame me for being cynical? Have we become too familiar (or perhaps tired) of celebrities raising awareness for awareness? One can only hope this campaign is not forgotten as quickly as some of the other causes du jour. The website looks good, though. Check out the video streams and Podcasts. Oh yeah, and read some too.

Dead Carp at Lake Scugog
Trout Creek meets the Thames River in the heart of St
Marys Ontario. Not particularly close to Lake Scugog but
sightseers on the Trunk Bridge in St Marys where observing some
strange behaviour from the large carp in the waters below. They
could be seen jumping and thrashing around in the murky waters
in a way that would seem unusual.
